Tata cummins bonus – Tata Cummins employees will get 19.5 percent bonus this year, bonus agreement delayed due to canteen boycott


Jamshedpur: Employees of Tata Cummins Jamshedpur plant, a leader in manufacturing engines for medium and heavy vehicles, will get 19.5 percent bonus. Regarding this, an agreement was signed between the management and Tata Cummins Employees Union in the company’s board room on Thursday. According to the agreement, the employees will get a maximum of Rs 1 lakh 30 thousand 241, a minimum of Rs 64 thousand 312 and an average of Rs 1 lakh 5 thousand 448. Rs 8.35 crore will be distributed among the 790 permanent employees of the company as bonus. The bonus amount will be sent to the bank accounts of the employees by Friday. In the zoom meeting regarding the bonus agreement, the company’s Vice President Manish Jha and HR Head Pallavi Desai and those who signed the agreement letter included Plant Head Ramphal Nehra, HR Head Manish Jain, TC Employees Union President Diptendu Chakraborty, General Secretary Sumit Kumar and all the officials. All committee members were involved. Tata Cummins employees got 18.5 percent bonus last year. Last year a maximum of Rs 1 lakh 1 thousand 454 was received. The minimum amount received as bonus was Rs 37,478 and the average was Rs 77,581. Rs 6.13 crore was distributed among the employees. The employees’ bonus would have been given earlier, but it has been delayed due to the canteen boycott. Tata Cummins’ bonus was around the same as that of Tata Motors, but this time the agreement was delayed due to opposition from the management.
