Punjab Triple Murder Case Man Killed His Brother Sister In Law And Nephew In Mohali; Brother-in-law killed, nephew thrown alive into canal, brother’s shocking act
Due to a family feud, the accused Lakhwinder Singh had hatched a conspiracy with his friend to kill the trio. Giving details of the case, the police said that the accused killed his elder brother Satbir Singh (32), his wife Amandeep Kaur (29) and their two-year-old son Anhad.
According to the information received, the accused killed his sister-in-law first. He strangled his sister-in-law and killed her. Later, when the brother came home from office, he stabbed him with an ax and killed him too. After that, they threw the bodies of both in their car and threw them in the Ropad canal.
2-year-old nephew thrown into canal alive
The weapon and the car used in the murder have been seized by the police. Police said that after the incident, the accused Lakhbir Singh had fled to his native village Pandher in Sangrur district (Punjab) and was staying with the family as usual to avoid anyone’s knowledge. When the police interrogated him thoroughly based on suspicion, he confessed to the crime.
He said that on the night of October 10, he along with his colleague Gurdeep Singh first beat up his sister-in-law and then strangulated her to death. Then at half past ten when Satbir came home, he stabbed him with an ax and then took him inside the house and stabbed him with a knife and killed him too. After that, he threw the two-year-old nephew in the canal along with the dead bodies and fled from there. Police are currently investigating the matter.
