Mumbai, August 26: Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Regina Cassandra are teaming up for the upcoming film ‘Section 108’ directed by Rashik Khan.
Produced by a dynamic group of CinemaWala Ventures and Three Arrows productions, it is presented by one of the acclaimed and most thought-provoking directors, Aniz Bazmi. The movie is described as being about the biggest scam in the country.
The teaser for the movie is scheduled to be released on August 27. Other details about the movie are still under wraps.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin will appear in Akshat Ajay Sharma’s crime drama ‘Hadi’. The film also stars Anurag Kashyap and Ella Arun in the lead roles. Nawazuddin plays a dual role in the film, one of which is transgender.
Regina made her debut in a supporting role with the Tamil film Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005) and made her Telugu film debut with Siva Manasulo Sruthi (2012). She made her Hindi film debut with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
She was last seen on screen in the Tamil language horror thriller ‘Karungaapiyam’ written and directed by Deekay. It stars Kajal Aggarwal and Regina Cassandra in prominent roles. While Janani Iyer, Raisa Wilson, Noerika Bhatiaja, Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, Lulu Sabha Manohar, John Vijay, Cha Ra, Adhav Kannadasan, VJ Parvathi, TSK, Sherlin Seth, Koti Gopi and others are in supporting roles. The movie was released on May 19, 2023.
