New Delhi, August 27: Model-turned-actor Navneet Malik spoke about what he doesn’t like about the entertainment industry, saying there should be a system where artists with potential can communicate with casting directors, and vice versa.

Navneet will soon be seen playing the negative lead in the thriller series ‘The Freelancer’.

Speaking to IANS, the actor known for his role in ‘Heropanti 2’ said: ‘What I like about this industry now is that people don’t restrict any actor to certain roles, whether positive or negative. They accept them in ‘different roles and personalities.’ This is the good part of this industry. “

The mastermind behind the series is acclaimed director Neeraj Pandey, who is known for his hit songs like ‘Special OPS’, ‘A Wednesday’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’ and ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. Bhav Duliya takes over as director, promising an adrenaline-pumping experience.

The series also features Sushant Singh, Manjari Phadnis, Sarah Ganidias, John Cocken and Gauri Balaji in the lead roles.

The Freelancer will start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on September 1st.
