New Delhi, August 28: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has organized a recruitment drive for students trained under the Jammu and Kashmir Employment Enhancement Training (JEET) programme, benefiting hundreds of local students.

Notable recruiters that took part in the campaign include Concentrix, Hike Education, Infosoft Technologies, Krishna Maruti, MRF Tire, New Allenberry Works, Okaya Power, Paytm, Reliable Automotive, Siddhi Infonet India Pvt Ltd, Super Hose, Yokohama, Dixon Technology, and Indian Japan. Lighting Limited Limited, Bajaj Motors and Airtel. These companies have provided more than 1,200 job opportunities so far.

AICTE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Academy of Information and Communication Technology to provide training under the JEET program to 5,000 final and pre-final year students in J&K and Ladakh. A total of 768 students have so far completed training under the programme.
