WWE Fastlane: WWE recently organized Fastlane 2023 premium live event. There were a total of 5 matches in the show, in which a new champion was found as well as the shocking return of a veteran. The main event also saw a fierce competition for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Let us tell you that the show started with the Undisputed Tag Team Championship match and after this, Six Man Tag Team Match, Women’s Championship Match, Tag Team Match and World Heavyweight Championship Match were seen. John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Iyo Sky, LA Knight, Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar and Carlito won their respective matches.
Apart from this, a lot more happened besides the return of Carlito, Cody Rhodes-Jay Uso becoming champion and Bayley helping Io Sky. The defeat of Bobby Lashley and Judgment Day was the most shocking, and Nakamura once again lost his chance to become champion. Let’s take a look at what happened in WWE Fastlane:
The list of all the matches held in WWE Fastlane 2023 is as follows:
#) Judgment Day vs. A match was seen between Cody Rhodes and Jay Uso for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. The team of Rhodes and Uso defeated Finn Balor and Damian Priest to win the Tag Team Championship. Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh tried to help their teammates, but their cheating didn’t work.
#) Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits faced off against Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar. Later in this match, Carlito returned and supported Rey Mysterio and Santos. For this reason, in the end Ray and the team defeated Bobby Lashley, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford.
#) A triple threat match was seen between Io Sky, Oska and Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women’s Championship. Bayley’s help ultimately gave Iyo Sky the upper hand and Sky successfully retained her championship by pinning Charlotte Flair.
#) John Cena and LA Knight had a match against The Bloodline. Pat McAfee introduces Cena. In the end, Knight pinned Jimmy Uso and with this the team of John Cena-LA Knight registered a tremendous victory.
#) The main event saw the Last Man Standing match between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura for the World Heavyweight Championship. This match was very dangerous in terms of action and in the end Rollins was successful in keeping Nakamura down for 10 counts. With this he retained the world title.
