He said, “All the terrorists of the Palestinian terrorist group are certain to die.” For the first time after the sudden attacks by Hamas on Israel on Saturday, Netanyahu has talked about the elimination of Hamas.
He said, “Hamas is like Daesh (Islamic State group), we will destroy them like the world destroyed Daesh.”
Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant said, “We will wipe out Hamas from the face of the earth.” Netanyahu has temporarily put aside his political differences and included the opposition in the government amid the war. Former Defense Minister Benny Gantz has also been included in this new emergency government.
Gaza people rendered homeless
According to United Nations data, 3 lakh 38 thousand people have been displaced so far after Israel’s attacks on Gaza. According to BBC news, Israel has deployed about 3 lakh reserve forces in the Gaza Strip area occupied by Hamas.
In the Israel-Hamas war, 2100 people have died on both sides, in which 1000 people in the Gaza area have died, while 1200 people have lost their lives in Israel.
According to recent figures from the Palestinian Health Department, approximately 51 Palestinians are dying every hour due to Israeli air strikes. The US is in talks with Israel, the United Nations and Egypt to allow aid into Gaza and create a safe corridor. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is scheduled to reach Israel in a few hours.
