More than 11 thousand personnel of all security agencies will be deployed in the entire Ahmedabad city for this match. It also includes the anti-terror force National Security Guard (NSG), Rapid Action Force (RAF), Home Guard and Gujarat Police.
More than one lakh spectators will be present at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of around 1.30 lakh spectators and all the tickets are sold out. In such a situation, this stadium is going to be packed. According to Ahmedabad Police Commissioner Gyanendra Singh Malik, more than 7,000 police and around 4,000 Home Guard personnel will be deployed during the match.
Malik said that there will also be 3 teams of NSG and 1 team of anti-drone. Along with bomb disposal squad, NDRF and SDRF units will also be deployed. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a high-level meeting in the presence of Minister of State for Home Affairs Harsh Sanghvi regarding security arrangements for the India-Pakistan match. Apart from this, a lot of preparations were also made regarding security.

The Commissioner of Police said that the Ahmedabad police have a plan-B for any emergency. Controversial banners will be banned in the stadium. Every banner and poster of the audience will be checked. Ahmedabad Police is also monitoring social media, so that no one spreads rumours. It was said that police will also be deployed in many sensitive areas of the city like Shahapur, Dariyapur, Jamalpur. Apart from this, the security of the players has also been increased.
