Bigg Boss Marathi fame actress Aarti Solanki is constantly in the news. The reason for it is so special. Aarti has reduced her weight by almost 50 kg. Everyone is shocked to see her transformation. Recently, Aarti gave an interview to a YouTube channel. In this interview, she talked about how she lost weight and the bad experience she had.
Aarti Solanki in an interview about why she decided to lose weight said that actually I have lost 49 kg. I had never stood in front of a mirror at home. Because I’m a tomboy. But ever since everyone told me that you are thin and looking good, I started looking in the mirror. Now everyone is telling me to be nice. So I am getting ready for samosas. Now I feel that I have really changed. In fact, I tried to make a change. I am getting the fruits of my hard work.
Aarti further said that before the lockdown, I was around 100. Then I got 132 in lockdown. Then Star Pravah asked me for a comedy show. I couldn’t sit up while working on that show. I somehow did that show. Because there was a lockdown, I wanted work. I couldn’t leave work because the house was running on me. He worked a full season. At that time I am a dietician in Saifi Hospital. I took a six-month diet from him on a video call. I followed him. It made me lose a lot of weight. Then my school friend Swapnil Kadam who is a personal trainer. He doesn’t have a gym. So my house is small. Since the neighbor’s house is big, with his permission, I asked him to tell me the exercises that you can do at home. He gave five-six sittings in a month. Regular workouts, daily walking and diet have reduced the weight.
The co-stars counted it as ‘Chakka’
I went to the shoot of a reality show. There are women who become artists. They counted me as a six. I didn’t feel bad for saying six. But I didn’t like their attitude. They were fooling me. It was a slogan. I am on one side and the other on the other side. So Chakka said that all of them wanted to touch me. I also initially got into that flow saying oh wow the slogan is great and so on. But then seeing the reaction of others and their reactions throughout the day made me feel that we are calling you six.
That day I suffered a lot….
I suffered a lot that day. That day I shot somehow. Earlier I was losing weight for health. But, after that I decided for what was despised, what was hated. I am not angry about being called six. Because, it is not a curse. It is a gender. It is a society. Basically, they are self-respecting people. So I really respect those people. So I don’t regret using that word. However, Aarti said that I felt very sorry for the attitude of these insulters.
