New Delhi, August 28: The Congress party criticized the BJP, saying that they are “unable to grasp the contribution” of Jawaharlal Nehru which led to the creation of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), and also asserted that the first Prime Minister of India used to encourage the scientific approach.
“Those who cannot comprehend former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s contribution to the establishment of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) should listen to his speech when laying the foundation stone for the Tata Institute of Basic Research.” Congress General Secretary (Communications) Jairam Ramesh said on X (formerly Twitter).
He also participated in the speech of the former Prime Minister along with the post delivered by Nehru during the programme.
“He (Nehru) not only spoke a lot, but also made big decisions,” said the Congress MP, without mentioning anyone.
