Kochi, August 28: The Bengaluru-bound IndiGo flight was recalled from the runway at Cochin International Airport on Monday after receiving an anonymous call saying there was a bomb in the plane.
The plane was on the runway when the call was received
After a thorough search after the passengers and cargo were unloaded, it turned out to be a hoax.
Shortly before 1pm, the plane was cleared to proceed to its destination.
Meanwhile, the local police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
