New Delhi, August 27: Actress Kangana Ranaut on Sunday paid tribute to India’s pioneering women scientists at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), who were behind the success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, saying they are “an example of simple living and high thinking”. ISRO has achieved a successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the south pole of the Moon.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kangana shared a happy photo of the ISRO women, who wear saris and represent traditional Indian culture.
She captioned the photo: “India’s top scholars, all holding the Bindi, Sindoor and Mangal sutras… an example of simple living and high thinking… the true essence of Bharatiyata,” followed by the Indian flag emoji.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also announced that the landing point for the Chandrayaan-3 mission will be known as the ‘Shiv Shakti point’. The prime minister also said that the day the Vikram lander landed on the moon (August 23) would be celebrated as ‘National Space Day’ in the country.
Meanwhile, Kangana will next appear in ‘Chandramukhi 2’, which also stars Raghava Lawrence and is a sequel to the Tamil blockbuster ‘Chandramukhi’ starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika.
She has Sarvesh Miwara’s ‘Tejas’ in production which is expected to be released on October 20.
The actress also has an “emergency”. The film also stars Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, and Milind Soman in lead roles and is scheduled to release on November 24.
