A luxury island villa floating on water
Now a luxury island villa is poised to become a tourist hotspot. An amazing pentagon-shaped residence is being built in the Maldives. The scheme will offer tourists a paradise experience with views of crystal water, spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas as well as gardens and wooden terraces. The island is shaped like a distinct pentagon, with an open area in the middle to attract vacationers to watch the glorious sunset. Large windows all around the villa let you gaze out to the sea, so waking up in paradise can be easy. Half of the island is set up for living and the other side for jumping off and sunbathing with deckchairs. This floating villa also has a tree in one corner of the garden to complete every island feel. Copenhagen-based maritime architecture group Mast has partnered with local developers to create fancy off-grid floating villas. This innovative structure was presented to the government last August. Floating villas use a variety of technologies, including solar cells, on-board waste water treatment and water production devices, to provide an upscale experience that’s quite different from your typical resorts on land. As this amazing island is far from shore, the only way to reach it is by boat, swimming or paddleboard.
