Ahmedabad: A youth from Ahmedabad spent Rs. 2.68 lakh has come to lose. In this matter, the youth has filed a complaint at Anandnagar police station in the city.

According to the details received in this regard, a youth named Masri Kandoria, a native of Devbhoomi Dwarka district, has been living with his friends on Anandnagar Road in the city for the past 3 years. Last September 22, Masri saw a post on Facebook about ticket sales for the India-Pakistan match. So Masri called the number given in the post and spoke. In which the person in front identified himself as Jai Shah, ticket agent of Gujarat Cricket Associate.

As Masri wanted to go to the stadium to watch the match with his friends, he spoke to Jai Shah about buying tickets. Hence, Jai Shah got 2.68 lakhs of 41 tickets from Masri and his different friends by building trust. However, Jai Shah did not give the ticket after receiving the money. Hence, Masri gave ADC Bank check to Jai Shah to get his money back. Which was bounced while putting it in the bank.

On the basis of Masri Kandoria’s complaint in this matter, Anandnagar police have registered a case against a thug named Jai Shah under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC and initiated investigation cycles for his arrest.
