On the lines of the central government, the state government had also announced the provision of farmers’ honor funds in farmers’ accounts. It was approved today. 2000 will be deposited in the account of eligible farmers soon.

The state government had introduced the Namo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Scheme. But, nothing was paid to the farmers. Today, a fund of Rs 1720 crore has been approved for depositing the first installment of Rs 2000.
The central government has been giving Rs 6,000 to farmers in three phases for the past few years. On the same lines, the state government is also going to deposit six thousand rupees in the farmers’ account every year. Devendra Fadnavis announced this while presenting the Artha Sankalp. In this way, 12 thousand rupees will be deposited in the accounts of the farmers of Maharashtra from the central and state government together.
MahaIT has developed software for the implementation of the scheme. 86 lakh 60 thousand farmers of the state will get the benefit of this. The instructions given by the state government were to use the criteria of ‘PM-Kisan’ and computerized information for ‘Namo Kisan’.
